Desari's Enchanted Love Stories

The Precious Gift Of A Dog

The love of and dog is special indeed. They will follow you over the roughest road. They will lead you through darkness and into the light. They will stay by your side until you draw your last breath and than they will guard your remains. They don’t judge you or your mistakes. They love you no matter what you do. In your darkest hour they will stay by your side lending you the strength to go on. What a gift God bestowed on us when he created the dog. What greater gift is there than to be loved unconditionally. And they ask for so little in return. All the dog asks is that you feed and give him fresh water each day. And that you give him a warm dry place to sleep. Such a simple request and in return he will follow you no matter where you lead, and they will give up their life to protect you in a moment. They will always stand between you and danger. I am lucky indeed to have a dog I call my best friend. He has always been their steadfast and true. It breaks my heart when I hear that a dog has been abused. A dog is such a wonderful gift I can’t fathom why you would want to abuse something that loves unconditional. The more you love them the more they love you. But all over the world dogs are tossed into pounds where they meet their end on a cold metal table with the prick of a needle. I pray for these lost dogs that they might better be cared for in heaven. I heard a story about a dog years ago that has always stuck with me. A house caught fire and a two year old child was trapped inside. The family had a Doberman and that Doberman crouched over the two year old as the flames crept closer. The dog burned to death, but the child survived protected by the dog’s body. There can be no greater sacrifice than this. There are many stories of dogs rescuing their owners from danger. Such a precious gift they are. So I implore you to take good care of your dog. Give them plenty of love and always see to their needs, because your dog would give his very life for you. Thank you God for blessing the world with the creation of dogs!

 Punished For Getting Married!

I'm going to break from my normal format today. I don't generally post personal stuff on my blogs. But I'm ticked off and need to vent. I got married on August 29th to a long time friend. Since than my apartment management has been making our lives miserable. Our landlord is angry that I didn't get permission from her to get married. She served us with a compliance order ordering my husband out of the apartment. So my husband has been staying with his Dad. Once he moved out I had been told she would go about getting me re certified on my lease. But once my husband moved out she told me she couldn't do anything until she heard from the Housing Authority. So I went over there to talk to them, and they said no problem will put him on your lease just fill out these forms. So I spoke to landlord today and she says she doesn't think she has enough time to finish all the paper work even though she has until October second. She told me "It's 98% certain that they'll evict us and that I should start looking for different housing. I have two small children who are going to be homeless because I got married. I don't know what were going to do?

 Remembering 9/11by Desari

A Hero
Today we take the time to remember all those who fell on this long terrible day. We remember all the heroes who gave their lives to save others. We remember the courage of the men and women who raced into the burning buildings in attempt to rescue others. We remember the families of the fallen heroes. Most of all we remember as a nation we rose as one to grieve and rebuild. The strength of our nation was revealed on this terrible day. Blessings to all that suffered a loss on this horrible day. Below is a poem that I really like and it's dedicated to the memory to all our fallen heroes.

A hero thinks of others before they think of themselves
A hero will die to protect
A hero can be of any age, any co lour
A hero can be man, woman or child
A hero is courageous, loving and brave
A hero will never complain
A hero can be made in one act of compassion
Or years of tender loving care
Some hero's are remembered, whilst many are left forgotten
Hero's are angels in disguise, saving precious innocent lives
