After leaving his Father’s office Trey left the building and stepped into a waiting limo alone. Taking his phone out he called Damon. “Damon I need you guys in L.A tonight. You’ll have to cut your vacation short.” Trey ordered when Damon finally picked up. “Sure, no problem.” Damon responded with a frown. It was nearly two in the morning in L.A. “How long will it take you to get back?” Trey questioned glancing at his watch. “Two hours.” Damon replied doing a time table in his head. “That’s going to cut things a bit close.” Trey replied with a frown. “When you get into this town I need you to go directly to this address. I want you to break in quietly. There’s a young woman staying in this apartment. Her name is Kristen, she has long blonde hair to her waist and blue eyes. She’s 5”2 and weighs 100lbs. I want you to take her to my safe house in Montana. Try not to scare her to much, but get her out quick. She’s staying with her cousin so be careful. Once you get her out of there tell her I sent you to get her.” Trey ordered quickly. They didn’t have much time. “Have her write out a note indicating she has runaway. That will buy me some time.” “You want us to kidnap a girl?” Damon questioned. “Yes, there’s not much time. So get going. Call me on my emergency cell when you reach the safe house.” Trey replied. “Sure boss.” Damon replied Trey sounded nervous, which was highly unusual as Trey seemed to have nerves of steel. Why would Trey ask them to kidnap a woman? None of this was making sense, but Damon knew better than to question orders. He alerted the other guys and they headed back to L.A. Kristen had tossed and turned through most of the night. She was scared to death over what had happened that night. Josh had caught her with Trey. He would no doubt come to talk to her about what she had done. How would she ever be able to explain why she had slept with Trey? And what if she was pregnant? How would she ever explain that to her mother? She was in so much trouble. She needed Trey, but she wasn’t sure she would ever see him again. She finally drifted into a fitful sleep in the early hours of the morning. She woke up to the feel of somebody clamping a hand over her mouth. She tried to scream as men surrounded her bed their faces covered with black masks and night goggles. She struggled as they picked her up carrying her from the apartment. They carried her outside into the early morning light it was nearly five in the morning. Opening a door they shoved her into the back seat of a car. “You need to write a note saying you decided to runaway.” Damon ordered handing her a note pad and pen. “Who are you? What do you want?” Kristen stammered her entire body shaking with fear. “Trey sent us to get you. Write the note.” Damon answered they needed to get out of there. It was already starting to get light out. Her hands shaking Kristen wrote out the note. Why had Trey sent these men to get her? What was going on? She handed the short note back to the man seated next to her. He ripped the note from the pad and handed it out the window. “Go.” Damon ordered the driver. The car took off. Kristen sank into the seat to afraid to move. What were they going to do to her she wondered. They drove to an airport and loaded her onto a small leer jet. “Where are you taking me?” She dared to ask as the plane started to taxi down the runway. “Somewhere safe.” Damon answered finally removing his mask. They would be extremely lucky if no one noticed them carrying her out. What did Trey want with this kid? Pulling his phone out he dialed Trey’s cell. *****
Josh knocked on Jamie’s door a little after nine the next morning. He hadn’t gotten any sleep all he could think about was Kristen, and how he didn’t want to lose her. They could get past what had happened with Trey. Now that his brother was gone they could work things out. “Josh.” Jamie said unable to hide her disappointment. She had hoped it was Kristen. She had just woke up to discover her cousin had runaway sometime during the night. She had already called the police, and her Dad and grandmother were on their way over. Somehow she would have to explain this whole mess to them. She was dead when they found out! She could only hope that Kristen had run off with Trey, because the thought of her cousin wandering the streets of L.A alone was a terrifying thought. “I need to talk to Kristen.” Josh told her taking in her robe and messy hair. “You don’t know where she is?” Jamie asked her shoulders slumping. “She’s not here?” Josh asked. “No, she took off last night. I just woke up to find her bed empty. She left this note. I’ve already called the police their sending someone over.” She told him with a weary sigh as she handed the note to him. “I was hoping she was with you or your brother.” “She’s not. Trey left last night.” He replied his heart pounding as he read the brief note from Kristen. “Why would she take off?” He wondered aloud. “She’s totally freaked out over you catching her with Trey last night. She’s knows you’re mad at her and I think she ran off to avoid facing you. She was already freaked out enough about being pregnant.” Jamie answered as she poured a cup of coffee. “What?” Josh demanded. “She thinks she might be pregnant with your brother’s baby. I took her to the clinic yesterday morning to have a pregnancy test done. “She’s not pregnant. I know my brother he practices safe sex.” Josh told her. The thought of Kristen alone on the streets of L.A terrified him. “Here’s a new s flash for you. He didn’t wear a condom the pregnancy test was Trey’s idea. He had Kristen examined by a Doctor who did a blood test to determine whether or not she was pregnant.” Jamie told him her temper flaring. “Trey’s never had unprotected sex.” Josh stated in disbelief. His brother had drilled safe sex into him constantly. “I guess you don’t know him as well as you thought.” Jamie commented taking a sip of the coffee. There was a knock on the door. “That’s probably the police.” She muttered going to answer the door. Josh just stood staring off into space to stunned to move. Christ! The thought of her carrying Trey’s child shook him to his core. She must be terrified he thought his heart aching for her. He listened as Jamie gave the police a description of Kristen. Her Dad and Grandmother arrived shortly after the police. Kristen’s grandmother was in tears her hands shaking. After the police left Jamie was forced to tell them the whole truth. “How could you let this happen?” Bernice demanded her eyes filled with pain. The thought of her beloved granddaughter alone on the streets terrified her. “I don’t know everything just got out of control. I didn’t even know she was with Trey. I thought she was with Josh.” She moaned indicating Josh. “I’m sorry about the trouble my brother has caused. I can assure you that I’ll do everything I can to help you find Kristen. I’ll set up a reward for information.” He told them hoping to give them some reassurance. “Is it possible she’s with your brother?” Bernice asked hopefully. “No, he left for the ranch last night. My Dad was totally pissed off by what Trey had done. He sent Trey back to the ranch.” Josh answered. He almost wished Kristen was with his brother at least she would be safe. This nightmare was getting worse and worse. “So he just used her for sex.” Bernice said bitterly. “I’m sorry.” Josh said. This was all his fault he should have taken Kristen to Arizona with him when he left. “I’m going to go talk to my Dad, he’ll get our people out on the street to help search for her.” He told them. “Thank you, I know this must be hard on you. I don’t understand why Kristen would do something like this. It’s clear that you love her.” Bernice said gripping his hand. She was so confused by all of this. Kristen wasn’t the type of girl to jump from one man to another. She had never even had a boyfriend. “I’ll be in touch.” Josh promised squeezing her hand. He turned and headed out of the apartment. *****

Chapter Eleven
“Where is she?” John demanded as he entered Josh’s hotel room. “Dad.” Josh said getting up from the sofa. “Don’t Dad me I know she’s here somewhere.” John replied marching toward the bedroom. He preceded to check every room. “Dad there’s nobody else here.” Josh stated watching his father go from room to room. “What did you do with her?” He demanded when he had checked all the rooms. “Who?” Josh asked again. “The sixteen year old girl that you’ve been seeing.” “Kristen? She’s not here.” He answered wondering how his dad had found out about Kristen. “That’s not what I was told. I was told that she’s staying here with you.” John retorted. “Trey told you she was here?” Josh guessed with a frown. “Do you have any idea how much trouble your going to be in when that girl’s parents find about this?” John asked angrily. “Dad she’s not here, she left before Trey did.” Josh pointed out. “Than why did Trey tell me she was here?” John wondered aloud. “Ask him?” Josh replied with a shrug. What was Trey’s problem why would he turn me into Dad he wondered? “I want the truth Josh. Have you had sex with this girl?” John asked as he studied Josh. “No I haven’t.” Josh said staring straight into his father’s eyes. “Should have known.” John muttered. “I thought her family knew she was coming to see me.” Josh stated. “I didn’t find out that they didn’t know until Kristen got here.” “Josh you know better than fool around with jail bait.” John replied as he rubbed his sore neck. “I know, but I love her.” Josh replied. “You’ve only known this girl for a few days and she’s way too young for you.” John told him gently. “I love her, and I’m going to marry her as soon as she’s old enough.” Josh stated. “Her parent’s aren’t going to let you continue to see her.” He stated “I don’t care I’m going to do whatever it takes to be with Kristen, even if it means moving to Spokane.” Josh replied. “Did you get things straightened out here?” John decided it would be best to change the subject. “Yes, I was just getting packed up to return to L.A.” Josh answered nodding toward his luggage. “It’s after ten.” John said as he glanced at his watch. “I don’t care I need to get back.” Josh replied. “I guess will head back to L.A than. I plan to have a nice long talk with you’re brother when we get back.” John muttered in disgust. Why had Trey sent him on this fool’s errand? What was he up to now? He intended to find out! It was after one in the morning when Trey roused himself enough to look at his watch. Lifting his arm he checked the time. Kristen was lying on top of him; she had fallen into an exhausted sleep. They had made love several times finally ending up on the sofa. Groaning Trey shifted her off of him so that he could get up. He needed to get her to the house. Getting up he covered Kristen with his shirt and walked into the bathroom to take a quick shower. The hot water helped to revive him after the long night. Kristen was proving to be a very eager if still a little timid lover. He couldn’t remember ever enjoying sex more.
Out in the office Kristen stirred awake to the sound of a shower. Sitting up she slipped Trey’s shirt on to cover herself. Her body was sore from making love so many times. Trey had taken her over and over. She blushed at the memory of some of the positions they’d done it in. She still felt guilty over Josh, but she loved being in Trey’s arms. She heard the shower turn off and seconds later Trey came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist. “We need to get to house.” He told her picking up his pants from the floor. Dropping the towel he stepped into his pants. “Ok.” Kristen replied as she got up from the sofa to gather her clothes up. “Are you alright?” Trey asked drawing her into his arms. “Yes.” She stared up at him blushing under his stare. Leaning down Trey started to kiss her. “Trey I want a word with you.” John announced barging into Trey’s office he came to a halt as he took in his son’s state of undress. His eyes moved over the young woman dressed in his son’s shirt. He recognized her from the picture in the newspaper. “I didn’t realize you had company.” His voice was filled with disapproval. “What the hell? Kristen?” Josh stared at Kristen in disbelief. She was dressed in his brother’s shirt and nothing else. “How could you do this to me?” Josh asked his face darkening with anger. “Josh.” Kristen whispered as her eyes darted between the two brothers. “You’re dead!” Josh said as he lunged toward his brother. Kristen cried out as Trey was knocked to the floor and the fight was on. With a sigh John exited the office to call in the guards. It took several minutes and nearly all of their guards to break up the fight but they were finally pulled apart. Both of them bruised and bleeding. “That’s enough!” John yelled placing himself between them. “Am I right in assuming that this is the girl you’ve been seeing Josh?” He asked indicating Kristen who was cowering in a corner. “Yes.” Josh mumbled his voice filled with hurt as his eyes moved over Kristen. She stared at the floor. “Christ!” John muttered. The shit would really fly when this got out. “You realize you could be thrown in jail for this.” He pointed out to Trey in disgust. “Why? You knew how much I loved her. Why did you have to go after her?” Josh asked his eyes filled with hurt. “I’m sorry Josh, it just happened.” Trey answered feeling like scum. “Just like when you just happened to screw my wife?” Josh lashed out. “What?” The color left Trey’s face as he realized that Josh knew the truth. “Laura told me that she had sex with you.” Josh told him. “You slept with Laura?” John asked his face darkening with anger. “I was drunk.” Trey answered. “Dino, take Kristen back to her family. Trey my office now!” John ordered. “Can I get dressed first?” Kristen stammered. “There’s a bathroom through this door you can shower and dress.” Trey answered his voice gentle as he guided her into the bathroom. “Trey, I’m sorry.” She told him her eyes filling with tears. She felt so ashamed over what she had done. “There’s nothing to be sorry about. You didn’t do anything wrong, this is my fault.” He told her firmly. “What…?” She started to ask. “It’s going to be ok; Dino will take you back to your cousins. I’ll call you when this is all straightened out.” He interrupted before closing the door to the bathroom. He walked past his father and Josh and headed to his Dad’s office. The guards were still restraining Josh who kept trying to lunge at his brother. “Josh, you need to calm down. Tearing you’re brother apart won’t change anything.” John advised meeting his eyes. “Why would he do this to me? What did I ever do to deserve this?” Josh asked his chest aching. “I’m sorry Josh I can assure you that Trey will be punished for this.” John stated his heart aching for his son. He had already suffered so much, he didn’t deserve this. “Let me go!” Josh ordered shaking off the hands of the guards. He stalked out of the office followed by several guards. He needed to get some air he could hardly breathe. “Stay with him.” John ordered his men before heading into his office. He found Trey putting on a fresh shirt he had gotten from the extra clothes John kept in his office. “You’ve done a lot of low things but this takes the cake” John told him he couldn’t remember ever being this angry with his son. “How could you do this to Josh?” “It just happened.” Trey muttered aware of the trouble he was in. It had never occurred to him his Dad would return so soon. “How did you know I was here?” He wondered aloud. “I called Dino.” John replied struggling to get a hold of his temper. He felt like strangling Trey. “Figures.” Trey muttered. His own men would never have given his location away. He needed to get a hold of his own men. He wouldn’t be able to trust the other guards. “Why Trey?” John asked again. “What do you want me to say?” Trey asked as he buttoned his shirt. “How could you stoop so low as to sleep with the woman you’re brother loves? How could you do that to your own brother?” John asked grabbing Trey by the shirt front. “I don’t know, it just happened. She came to the office the day Josh left. She was upset so I took her out to breakfast. One thing led to another.” Trey answered he had never seen his Dad this angry. He swallowed hard. “She’s sixteen, you never should have laid a hand on her. You could be charged with rape!” John ranted fighting the impulse to bash his son’s head in. “I didn’t rape her; she was more than willing to go to bed with me.” He pointed out. Which wasn’t entirely true but he needed to diffuse his father’s temper a bit. “It’s not like I was the first guy to bed her. She knew exactly what she wanted.” He lied feeling a stab of guilt. “Josh told me she was a virgin.” John growled, “Josh is an idiot; he thought Laura was a loyal wife.” Trey pointed out. “How could you sleep with your brother’s wife?” John wondered in disgust. Where had he gone wrong with Trey? The boy was turning into a monster. “I had too much to drink at a college party I attended with Josh and Laura. When we got home I crawled up to bed to sleep it off. But Laura followed me upstairs and climbed into bed with me.” He answered. “Why would Laura do something like that?” John asked not believing Trey. “Because she was a slut, she was banging Brian on the side.” He answered. “What?” John asked in shock. He finally released Trey’s shirt and took a step back. “It’s true ask grandpa. The autopsy done on Laura showed recent sexual activity the night she died. Since Josh stayed home that night Grandpa played a hunch and ran DNA. Laura had sex with Brian the night she died. “I don’t believe it. Laura loved Josh.” John stated shaking his head. “No, she loved his money.” Trey retorted still disgusted over what Josh’s wife had done. “I’ll talk to Dad about this.” John muttered feeling sick. “It doesn’t excuse what you did tonight. Josh is in love with that girl, she’s all he talked about on the way home.” “I know. And I’m sorry Dad, but I can’t undo it.” He replied feeling like a jerk “Christ! She told Josh that she was a virgin.” John stated his eyes moving over Trey. “She was lying to him.” Trey lied shrugging his shoulders. He was digging himself into a deep hole. He only hoped he’d be able to crawl out of it. “I want you on a plane back to Montana.” John ordered. “Dad I’ve got business to finish up here.” Trey replied shaking his head. “I don’t care, you’re going back to Montana tonight. Give me what you’re working on I’ll take care of it.” John replied. “But Dad...” Trey started. “No Trey. You get your ass back to Montana and you stay there that’s an order. You’re to go into the office and straight home.” John ordered holding up a hand. “Dad I’m not a child you can’t ground me.” Trey argued. He couldn’t leave California he still needed to take care of the situation with Kristen. “You’ll do what you’re told or you can kiss your job at Harrington goodbye.” John threatened his face darkening. “Fine.” Trey muttered there was no use in arguing with his father. Clearly he wasn’t going to be reasonable. “And another thing Trey I don’t want you to have any further contact with that girl do you understand me?” John warned. “Dad!” He started to object. “No, Josh loves this girl. You stay the hell away from her from here on out.” “Dad it’s over between them.” Trey argued. “I know your brother; he’ll still want her even after this. And as of right now he’s going to have both of our support. Do you understand me.” John said staring his son down. “Fine, whatever.” Trey muttered and turned to storm from the office. “Do what I say Trey, or suffer the consequences.” John warned and watched as his son stormed from the room. Letting out a weary sigh John headed home to the L.A house. He needed to talk to Josh. He didn’t know how he would explain any of this to Jessica. Josh was in his room when John arrived home. “Son we need to talk.” John said as he entered his son’s bedroom. Josh was standing by the window staring out into the night. His whole world was once again in turmoil. “There’s nothing to say Dad.” Josh replied turning to look at his father. “I spoke to Trey. He’s sorry about what happened.” John told him. Josh looked grief stricken. “I doubt it.” Josh muttered he would never forgive Trey. “Son I know how you must be feeling.” John told him gently. “No you don’t.” Josh stated. “You’ve never been backstabbed by your own brother. “You’re right I haven’t.” John conceded. “I sent Trey back to Montana.” “He won’t stay there, he’ll be back.” Josh grumbled. “No he won’t, not if he wants to keep working for Harrington. I told him he’s not to have any further contact with Kristen.” John stated. “And he agreed?” Josh asked in disgust. “Yes.” John replied. “So that’s it than. He uses her for sex and than tosses her aside without a care in the world.” Josh said shaking his head in disgust. “He’s backing off for you.” John told him noting the disgust in his voice. “He’s backing off because he doesn’t want to lose his precious position at the company.” Josh retorted. “Son what are you going to do?” John asked. “I’m going to go see Kristen tomorrow.” Josh replied. “You plan to keep seeing her than?” “Yes, I’m not letting her go. This isn’t her fault Trey seduced her.” Josh answered. “Be careful son, this girl may not be what she seems?” John advised. “What do you mean?” Josh questioned hearing the note of disapproval in his father’s voice. “Trey told me that she was no innocent when he took her.” John answered reluctantly. “He’s lying.” Josh replied feeling sick at his brother’s continued deceit. “Son..” John started to say. “No. Dad I know for a fact that she was a virgin. I may not have slept with her. But we did other stuff, she was a virgin.” Josh said holding his hand up. “You’ve touched her intimately?” John asked. In order for Josh to know for sure he would have to have had his fingers in her at some point. “Yes.” Josh nodded remembering the night in question. She had been so hot and tight. It had nearly been impossible to stop. But he had read the fear in her eyes despite her willingness to go on. “Get some rest Son.” John told him before turning to leave. Trey had lied to him again. What the hell was wrong with him? He didn’t doubt that Josh was telling him the truth. He had always been a terrible liar. But Trey was turning lying into an art form. "Tell me you’re kidding." Jessica asked growing pale. She was sitting up in bed. John had come into the room and woke her up. "I wish I was." John answered feeling older than his years. “How could Trey do this to Joshua? This will destroy Joshua." Jessica stated in anger. "I know I never should have sent Joshua away on business. Trey's always been so responsible! I can't understand how this could happen." John replied with hurt and confusion. "Trey's always been a womanizer, but I never thought he would stoop this low." Jessica answered barely concealing her rage. I sometimes wonder if he even has a heart." Jessica stated with sarcasm.
"Don't Jess, I know you’re angry but he is our son." John replied. "I'm going to talk to Trey." Jessica replied crossing the room. "No Jess, he’s not here. I sent him back to Montana. No matter what we have to hold this family together. I won't let this destroy our children or, us. So please Jess lets just go to sleep.” "What about Elizabeth, I have to fly to Paris tomorrow?" Jessica asked, seeing the drawn and tired look on her husband's face. She didn’t want to leave John at a time like this. “I’ll be fine. Go get our daughter and I’ll see you at the ranch.” He replied with a weary sigh.

Chapter Ten
"You have a very bad habit of disappearing." Trey finally said in a light tone devoid of anger hoping to put Kristen at ease. "I'm sorry but I didn't know what else to do." Kristen answered truthfully still gazing at her lap. "In the future before you take off please make sure that somebody knows where you’re going." Trey answered lifting her chin to look into her eyes. "I had half the city looking for you." Trey went on as he studied her beautiful face. "You did? I didn't think you would even bother." Kristen replied truthfully. "Jamie said I was probably just a one night stand." She continued shyly. "If you had been a simple one night stand I wouldn’t have spent the entire night with you." Trey answered truthfully.
“I’m not having an abortion!” Kristen blurted out. Clearly Trey had slept with other women. “I’m Catholic. I don’t believe in abortion.” Trey told her. “Than why did you ask the doctor for the morning after pills?” She asked not believing him. “That was my concession to you. You’re only sixteen and it seemed unfair to force you to pay for my mistake.” Trey answered.
“I don’t believe in abortion either.” She told him. “Are you Catholic?” He asked. “Methodist.” She answered. “I see.” He said. She would have to convert to his faith. “We have much to talk about. Starting with what you were doing in Arizona with my brother? It bothers me a great deal that you left my bed to run straight to my brother.” He told her. “I didn’t want to go. But Jamie said we didn’t have a choice. Josh was very insistent that we come. We didn’t want him to call my Grandma. She doesn’t know anything about this.” She explained. “You shouldn’t have run off. I asked you to wait until I got back.” He replied. “I know.” She answered softly. “Did you have sex with my brother while you were in Arizona?” He asked forcing her to look at him. “No.” She answered turning red. How could he think she would do such a thing? “I want to go home.” She said jerking her arm away. “There’s still the matter of whether you’re pregnant or not.” He pointed out. He didn’t think she was the type to hop from one bed to another. "What if I'm pregnant? My mother said she would throw me out if I ever got pregnant." She replied with more than a little dread in her voice. "Don't worry you'll be taken care of. I won't let anything happen to you. You’re safe with me." Trey replied touching her face gently. "I don't want you to worry; I'll take care of everything." Trey assured her. "What am I going to tell Josh?" Kristen asked looking up at him with dread in her eyes. "He'll be home soon, how am I going to explain this he'll hate me." Kristen continued quietly. “I left him a note, explaining why I had to leave.” “Why didn’t you name me in the note?” He asked. “I didn’t want to cause trouble between you.” She answered sadly. "He won't hate you; he'll blame me for the whole thing." Trey answered. Knowing in his heart his brother would never forgive him. The guilt of betraying his brother weighed heavily on his heart for there would be no hiding his deception this time. Trey gazed out the window of the limo thinking back to another time of betrayal. Once before Trey had betrayed his brother, he had slept with his brother's wife. He hadn't intended for it to happen but Laura had caught him alone in the barn one evening after he and his friends had been out partying. Trey had drunk too much that night also. And as usual Laura was tipsy on to much wine. But she hadn't been so drunk that she didn't know what she was doing for she had always wanted Trey even though she loved her husband. They had made passionate Love on an old blanket laid out in an empty stall. When it was over Trey drifted to sleep only to be roused in the wee hours of the morning by his good friend Brad. Brad saw to it that Laura was returned to her husband. Luckily Josh had drunk too much and was passed out in his room where several of his friends had drug him. Laura had given birth nine months later to a little girl. By that time Trey was in Europe, married, and expecting his first child. He had returned to the states alone and grieving for the wife he had lost. The first time he saw Laura's child he was stunned by the knowledge he had denied in Europe. The knowledge that he could be the father of his brother's precious child; but if she was indeed his, he would never tell his brother for the knowledge would surely kill his brother. Shaking back to the present Trey hoped that his most recent betrayal would not destroy his brother. Turning toward Kristen he takes her hand and gently squeezes it. It is than that he notices the tears.
"What's wrong?" Trey asked. "I don't want to hurt Joshua." She answered quietly knowing it would hurt Joshua deeply. "I don't want to hurt him either." Trey responded truthfully, if he could he would erase the other night. But he couldn't, and that was the hell of it. The limo took them to the Harrington Building. Trey knew his father would be gone for the night. He wouldn’t be able to sneak Kristen into the Beverly Hills house until later that night. His mother was due to leave for Paris early the next morning. He needed to find a place to stash Kristen until this mess was sorted out. His father wouldn’t be in Arizona very long. “Why are we here?” Kristen asked as he led her into his large office. “I can’t take you to the house until later tonight. My Mom’s staying at the house and I don’t want Mom to know about this right now.” Trey answered going to his desk to take a seat. “You’re not going to tell your parents?” She questioned her heart sinking. “I’m going to tell them, but first I need to settle a few things.” He assured her noting the hurt expression. “Like what?” She didn’t know whether to trust him or not. “Like my brother.” He answered with a frown. “Oh.” Kristen said and sighed. Josh would take it hard she knew. Her mind wandered back to the last night they were together. They had taken a walk on the beach as the sun was setting. Josh had turned toward her pulling her into his arms. They had shared a long tender kiss. When the kiss ended Josh had said “I love you.” “You do?” She asked in wonder. “I fell in love with you that first night on the beach.” He told her. He hadn’t given her a chance to reply. He had kissed her again. When she was finally able to catch her breath she had told him she loved him too. And than while he was gone she had jumped into bed with his brother. She was a slut! “What are you thinking?” Trey asked startling her. He had gotten up from his desk and was towering over her. “I was thinking how hard it’s going to be to tell Josh.” She answered wrapping her arms around herself. “Are you in love with my brother?” Trey asked dreading the answer but needing to know. “I thought I was.” She answered honestly. “Than why did you sleep with me?” He asked bristling at her answer. “I don’t know. You made me feel things I’ve never felt before.” She replied feeling miserable. “Not even with Josh?” He questioned needing to know. “No.” She said shaking her head. “Why didn’t you sleep with him?” Trey wondered. “He said I was too young.” She answered. His brother was an idiot! Trey thought to himself as his eyes moved over her. He should have staked his claim on her. “So what do we do?” She asked as her eyes moved around his office taking in everything. “Do?” Trey questioned. “Until you can take me to the house.” She replied feeling warm as his eyes moved over her. “I think I can come up with an idea or two.” He answered moving toward her. He had intended to work on paperwork. But he was driven to take her and remind her of who she belonged too. Pulling her into his arms his mouth lowered to hers. His lips brushed hers lightly drawing whimper of need from her. Her arms moved around his neck as he took procession of her mouth. Fire raced through her body as his mouth moved skillfully over hers. His hand cupped her breast his thumb rubbing over her nipple through the fabric drawing a groan from her. Leaving her mouth his lips traveled down her throat, his mouth burning her skin. Drawing back he pulled her shirt over her head. Her skin was so soft and her scent drove him crazy as his lips moved over her shoulders and down over the swell of her breast. She gasped as he sucked her breast through her bra. Every pull of his mouth brought a throbbing ache between her legs. Unbuckling her bra Trey’s mouth settled over her naked breast. His other hand massaged her other breast before unbuttoning her jeans. No other woman had ever made him feel like this. He had never wanted a woman like this. He was driven to take her by a desire that was so powerful it shook him. Pushing the jeans off her hips, his hand moved up over her thighs. He stroked the throbbing place between her legs through her panties causing her to cry out as an orgasm washed over her. The force of her orgasm caused her legs to buckle. Catching her Trey lowered her to the floor, his mouth moving down over her stomach. Grasping her panties he pulled them off and sat up to pull his tie and shirt off. Kristen laid on the floor and stared up at him her body on fire. She could hardly stand it her body shaking with a need she didn’t fully understand. Trey removed his clothes quickly needing to get inside her body before he exploded. Pushing her legs apart Trey’s body covered hers as he thrust into her drawing a soft cry from her as he plunged deeply into her. She moved her hips raising to meet his thrusts over and over. Her legs wrapped tightly around his waist holding him to her. Trey didn’t hold anything back he gave it all to her his powerful thrusts moving her a crossed the rug. The pleasure built until they couldn’t stand it and with one last powerful thrust they exploded together crying out. Trey collapsed on top of her, he was breathing hard, his heart pounding. They laid their like that holding tight to one another, both of them unsure over what was happening between them.

Friday January 18, 2008
It was after midnight before Josh and Trey walked into the suite. Josh was disgusted with his brother. His brother’s solution to the strike was to scare the union leaders into cooperating. Josh didn’t want to think about the things, he had witnessed that night. His brother was a cold blooded bastard. He had gotten a lecture from his brother as well about Kristen. Kristen had admitted to Trey that her Grandma was unaware of where she was at. Josh was guilty of kidnapping. Why had Kristen lied to him? Had he put to much pressure on her? Something was wrong. He intended to get some answers from her. Knocking on the guestroom door he walked in. The bedroom was empty he discovered. He started to turn to leave but noticed the letter on the pillow. With a frown he picked it up and opened it.
Dear Josh, I am so sorry! I had sex with someone last night. I tried to tell you, but I couldn’t make the words come out. I’m going home. I’m sorry I let you down.
Love, Kristen
Josh just stared down at the note anger washing over him. He glanced up sensing a presence and found Trey leaning against the door jam. “This is all you’re fault.” Josh stated rising from the bed. He crumpled the paper and tossed it on the floor. “What? Where’s Kristen?” Trey asked his eyes moving to the floor where the crumpled paper lay. “Gone!” Josh muttered as he brushed past his brother. “I’ll finish things up here, and than I’m handing my resignation in.” Trey didn’t say anything. Walking over he picked up the note from the floor. His eyes quickly scanned the note. Christ! Well it could have been worse she could have named him in the note. Not that it mattered. The pregnancy test had come back positive.
Kristen and Jamie were seated in a waiting room at a Planned Parenthood Clinic. Both are clearly upset. "I don't see why I have to have another pregnancy test. We only did it twice." Kristen argued. “He didn’t use protection, and it only takes one time Kristen." Seeing how upset Kristen was Jamie said..."Look Kristen I don't think you’re pregnant, but better safe than sorry." After a few minutes Kristen’s name was called, Kristen got up and followed a nurse into a room where a nurse conducted a pregnancy test. When the test was done Kristen exited the room and headed to the waiting area where Jamie was waiting. "They said they'll call us with the results tomorrow." Kristen told her cousin. "Good, let's go home grandma wants to see you." Jamie replied as they walked out of the waiting area.
When John arrived at the office, he entered the building and headed toward the elevator. Arriving at the elevator he pushed the up button but before he could step in he is, approached by a reporter, of low ethics. "Mr. Harrington, I was wondering if you could shed some light on the young woman seen in your sons company last at the Elizabeth Taylor Charity gala. It's rumored that she might be the next Mrs. Harrington, and yet oddly enough no one seems to know who she is. It couldn't be that your son is going to marry a commoner after his money." The reporter asked in a quick succession. "I haven't the slightest idea who she is, and as for marriage Trey has no plans that I know of." John answered impatiently. "It couldn't be that you don't know because you’re feuding with your son over his current relationship." The reporter asked his trap well placed. "I'm not even going to dignify that with an answer, now get out of my building before I call security." John threatened before stepping into the waiting elevator. The door closed in the reporter’s face. "Your messages are on your desk, as is your mail. Oh and the Boarding School in Paris called about your daughter it seems she's in trouble. They said it was very important that they speak with you as soon as possible." Rhonda informed him. "Shall I get them?" She asked. "Yes you'd better do that first; I wonder what that girl has done now." John muttered before entering his office. Once inside he walked to his desk, setting down his brief case he picks up his messages and goes through them. A few seconds later a buzzer sounds. Dropping the messages John presses a button. "Yes." "Mr. Harrington, the school is on line one." John hears through the intercom. John takes a seat in his chair, before picking up the phone and pushing a button. "John Harrington." John says into the phone. "Mr. Harrington, I'm calling in regards to your daughter." The woman said her tone serious. "What has Elizabeth done this time?" John asked his patience running thin. "She was caught in bed with a young man from a neighboring military school. This is not your daughter’s first offense at this School; she has been caught several times sneaking off and back onto campus at all hours of the night. We simply will not tolerate this behavior any longer. Your daughter is wrecking havoc on all that this school stands for. Therefore I have no choice but to expel her from school. I would appreciate it if you would see fit to come and get her immediately." The woman informed John sternly. "Now wait a minute, I sent my daughter there because your school is considered the finest boarding school in the world. And now you’re telling me that a boy from a neighboring school was found in her room. What kind of supervision, does your school offer anyway?" John replied his tone very angry. "Mr. Harrington we offer the finest education in the world but we are not a jailhouse. We set rules and it is expected that they will be followed. Your daughter however seems not to understand that rules are for her benefit and has sought to break them at every turn." She answered. "I had hoped you would make a Lady of her, and instead she has fallen even more by the way side. Has she been tested for pregnancy?" John asked. "Yes, she has, and the test came back negative." She again answered him. "Thank God for that, I will send my wife to retrieve her from your school. I'm sorry for any embarrassment she may have caused the school." John stated some of the anger leaving his voice. "Thank you, I'm sorry we couldn't do more for your daughter." The woman replied sincerely before hanging up. In his office John hangs up with a sigh. Pressing a button he waits for Rhonda to answer before saying... “See if you can find my wife, I need to speak with her as soon as possible." John ordered.
Across town in a simple townhouse Kristen and her cousin have just arrived to see her Grandma and Uncle Russell. Kristen hugs her grandmother warmly. "Are you having fun sweetheart." Bernice asked as they break apart. "I'm having lots of fun grandma." Kristen answered managing to sound happy. "Has Jennifer shown you around L.A.?" Bernice asked. "Oh yes grandma, I've seen so many neat things." Kristen lied smoothly. “Did you enjoy visiting Santa Diego?” Bernice asked her. “Yes. Jamie’s friends were lots of fun.” Kristen replied feeling guilty. The lies just went on and on. "Jamie, can I see you in my office for a minute." Russell asked of his daughter. Jamie followed her Dad into his office. He shut the door and walked to his desk. "What's up Dad?" Jamie asked. "Are you and Kristen having fun?" Russell asked. "Yeah, I've been showing Kristen all around the city." Jamie lied. "And you haven't let her out of your sight since she's been here." Russell asked. "No, why do you ask?" Jamie asked sensing a trap. "Well I happen to be reading the society page in today’s paper." Russell answered. "So what's that got to do with Kristen?" Jamie asked. "See for yourself." Russell said handing the paper over. Jamie takes the paper and there before her eyes is a picture of Kristen in an evening gown standing by the very rich Trey Harrington. Before she can say it's not Kristen, Jamie’s eyes fall on the accompanying article. She turns the page and finds more pictures of her cousin taken around L.A. "Don't bother to lie to me, those pictures are of Kristen. What I want to know is how did she fall into company with Trey Harrington?" Russell asked. "I took Kristen to a beach party and she met Joshua Harrington there. She must have met Trey through him." Jamie answered leaving out quite a few details. "So let me get this straight, you've let Kristen run all around L.A with a stranger." Russell asked in amazement. "Dad, I met Joshua earlier this week. Its not like he's a street bum, he's rich. As for Trey, it's like I said, I don't know how she fell in with him but who cares he's rich." Jamie answered. "Jamie, when will you learn to take some responsibility? I entrust Kristen into your care, and you sell her to the richest bidder." Russell replied. "Dose grandma know?" Jamie asked fearfully. "If she did, you wouldn't be standing here right now." Russell answered sharply. "Now you listen, I don't want you to let Kristen out of your sight from here on out. If anything were to happen to her heads would roll." Russell ordered firmly. Jamie just nodded. But inside she was sick with fear at the thought of Kristen being pregnant and having to explain her part in the mess.
John was at work in his office when the buzzer sounded. He pressed a button and says... "Yes, what is it Rhonda?" John asked not looking up. "Mr. Harrington, your wife is on line two." Rhonda answered. "Thank you Judy." John replied picking up the phone. "Darling I'm so glad Judy was able to find you." John said into the phone. Jessica is seated at a table in the dinning room with a cellular phone. A salad is in front of her as is a tall glass of ice tea. "John what's wrong, they said it was urgent?" Jessica asked. "Has something happened to the boys?" Her worry was evident in her voice. "No, it's Elizabeth. She's been expelled from school." John answered her. "Whatever for?" Jessica asked in surprise. "Apparently she and a boy from another school were caught in bed together." John answered leaning back in his chair. "Good lord, what are we going to do with her?" Jessica asked her disappointment apparent. "I don't know you'll have to fly to Paris and get her." John responded feeling very tired. "Don't worry Darling, I'll fly out immediately. I think it's time I had a serious talk with our daughter, she's getting out of control." Jessica assured her husband sensing the defeat in his voice. "Thank you Darling, I'll see you back at the ranch." John replied quietly. "I love you." Jessica answered softly. "I love you too." John replied. "Bye Darling." John hung up the phone with a sigh.
Across town Jessica hung up a worried frown on her face. "Jessica." Amy says coming to stand beside Jessica's table. "Amy, it's so good to see you." Jessica replied looking up in startled surprise she quickly rises from her chair to hug her. Amy was one of her dearest friends. They had been friends for over twenty years. "It's good to see you to. I've missed you." Amy replied taking a seat across from Jessica. "So tell me why were you frowning just now?" Amy asked. "I just spoke with John. Elizabeth has been kicked out of school." Jessica answered. "I'm sorry Jessica." Amy replied with concern. "Elizabeth is going to put me in an early grave." Jessica stated. "But enough about me how is Max?" Jessica asked changing the subject. "He's fine." Amy replied not wanting to pry into Jessica's affairs. "We just got back from London." Amy told her. "Did you see Maggie, while you were there?" Jessica asked. "Yes, we had dinner with her and Blake." Amy answered. "Jessica have you seen Gus lately?" "No, he and Woodrow are in Texas." Jessica answered. "Oh, what fools errand is he on now?" Amy asked with some bitterness. "He and Woodrow are checking on some oil fields down there, at least that's what John told me." Jessica answered. "You never got over Gus did you Amy?" Jessica asked. "I love Max very much Jessica, as for Gus he made his choice years ago when he chose friendship over our marriage." Amy answered defensively. "Gus loves you very much Amy, he always has, but Woodrow is his partner, and friend. Men can be very stubborn about business and friendship, John is the same way." "Whatever his reasons he broke my heart, and when he did all love for him died." Amy lied. "Jamie what's going to happen if I'm pregnant?" Kristen asked from the sofa where she is lying on her back staring at the ceiling. "I don't know Kristen, let's just hope your not." Jamie answered from a nearby chair. "A week ago I had never been kissed, and now I might be pregnant. What am I going to tell Joshua when he comes back?" Kristen asked back?" "Why did you sleep with Trey anyway, I thought you loved Joshua?" Jamie asked. "I do love Joshua, but I love Trey too." Kristen answered. "How can twin brothers be so different?" Kristen asked. "Joshua made me feel special and loved, but Trey made me feel like a beautiful Princess. I felt so safe with him. I can't really explain it, but from the moment I met him I've felt like I belong to him." Kristen continued quietly. "Kristen do you think Trey will take responsibility for his child if you’re pregnant." Jamie asked hopefully. "I don't know?" Kristen answered truthfully. She doubted it. Across town John was leaving the office in a very foul mood when he saw Trey stepping off the elevator. "What are you doing here? I sent you to Arizona." John questioned in surprise. "Dad, I didn't think you would still be here." Trey said the surprise evident on his face. "Well it just so happens that I would have been out of here sooner except that I’ve had to handle all of your work the last couple days.” John answered. "Step into my office I want a word with you." John ordered. John watched as his son crossed to his office and entered. "Rhonda, you can go home now." John told his secretary before entering his office, where he found his son pouring a drink. "Okay, what the hell is going on?" John demanded noting the drink in his son's hand.
"Nothing" Trey lied before swallowing the contents in his glass in one gulp. "I haven't seen you take a drink since Brian and Laura’s accident. What’s going on? Is it the project in Arizona?" John replied his anger fading under his concern. "I took care of the strike.” Trey said and poured himself another drink. He didn’t dare tell his Dad the truth. He could just imagine his father’s reaction to him saying "Dad I had sex with a sixteen year old virgin. The same girl Joshua is in love with." That statement would go over really well and than he could add “Oh and she’s pregnant with my child.” His father would kill him. “Than why are you drinking?” John questioned as he studied his son. “It’s been a long week.” Trey muttered running a hand through his hair. He needed to find Kristen. But that was proving to be a difficult task. "Did you and Josh get into a fight?” John guessed. “He wasn’t too happy about me showing up.” He replied setting down the glass in his hand. “How did you get the strike taken care of so quickly?” John asked convinced that something was wrong. “I did what had to be done. Josh wasn’t too happy with my methods.” Trey replied. He intended to search Joshua’s office to see if he could get an address for Kristen. “Christ what did you do?” John asked. “I showed Josh how problems are handled.” Trey said with a shrug. “Tell me you didn’t kill anyone?” John groaned he was well aware of Trey’s methods. “No. Josh never would have gone along with that.” He replied. His brother didn’t agree with his methods. “I wish you’d make more of an effort with Joshua.” John said with a sigh. “Josh doesn’t want my help. He told me he plans to resign when he gets done in Arizona.” Trey told his dad. “Dammit! Trey what the hell did you do?” He demanded anger evident in his voice. “I did what you told me to do. I took care of the mess in Arizona. Do you know why you couldn’t reach Josh? He was off playing with that sixteen year old girl I told you about.” Trey responded. “What?” “That’s right she was staying with him at the hotel. It gets better her family had know idea she was with him.” He told his father, he was still pissed that she had run back to his brother. “I’m going to kill him.” John muttered. “Are you telling me that he’s sleeping with her?” “She was staying in his room.” Trey replied feeling at stab of guilt over screwing his brother. But he needed his Dad’s attention off of him for a while until he could settle things with Kristen. “I’ll put a stop to that.” John muttered and walked to his desk. “What are you going to do?” Trey asked. “I’m going to Arizona.” John answered. “I’ll take care of things here.” Trey told him. He left his Dad to make arrangements to fly to Arizona. Walking out of the office he headed to his brother's office. Entering the dark office he switched the lights on, and headed for his brother’s desk. Trey searched the desk but found nothing. With a sigh Trey left his brother's office. As he headed for the elevator a thought struck him. Heading toward his own office Trey turned on the lights, and walked to his desk. Picking up the phone he punched in a number. "Dino its Trey, I want you to check all the clinics in L.A, find out if Kristen has been tested for pregnancy in any of them..." Trey ordered. "Her last name is Anderson. Start the search immediately; I don't care if it takes all night. Did you place men at every possible hang out in the area?" Trey asked... "Good, call me if you find out anything." With that he hung up. Getting up from the desk he walked out of the office, turning off the lights and closing the door.
Kristen and Jamie had again hit the streets of L.A. They entered a pizza place; walking through the restaurant they took a seat in a booth. Kristen didn’t notice A.J, who is seated at a nearby table. Taking his cell phone out he called Dino. "Dino, its A.J. I found her she's at pizza palace her and her cousin just walked in." A.J informed him. "Good, I'll inform the boss in the meantime you don't let that girl out of your sight." Dino ordered. "Should I talk to her?" A.J asked gazing across the room at Kristen. "No, you might scare her; just keep a low profile until the boss arrives." Dino answered before hanging up. He watched Kristen who was talking with her cousin. After a few moments a waitress went over to take their orders.
Meanwhile across town Trey had just gotten word from Dino about Kristen's location. "Good work Dino, I'm on my way over there now." Trey told Dino from the phone in his limo. "Sir there's something else you should know, I had Rob check with all the area clinics. He found records on Kristen at a Planned Parenthood Clinic. She apparently underwent a pregnancy test there. Rob talked to her Doctor and with a little persuasion he informed Rob of the results of the test." Dino informed Trey taking a moment before going on. "Sir, the tests confirm that she is in the very early stages of pregnancy." Dino finished. "Thank you Dino, you've done very well, I'll be in touch." And with that Trey hung up the phone. The results were of no surprise, he had already spoken to the Doctor he had examine Kristen. "What do you want to do now?" Jamie asked of Kristen. "Why don't we take a walk on the beach?" Kristen suggested longing to clear her head. "Sure, why not?" Jamie replied picking up the bill. With that they get up from the table and head to the counter to pay the bill. Once the bill is paid they head out the door, unaware that A.J is following them. They get into Jamie’s car. A.J gets into his car and when they pull out he follows them at a distance. It took about 15 minutes but they soon arrived at the beach. Leaving Jamie’s car they start walking down the beach each lost in their own thoughts. A.J phoned Trey on his cell phone. "Sir, it's A.J, your girl is walking on the beach near Park Place." A.J reported. "Should I follow them?" A.J asked. "No A.J, I'll be there in a few minutes stay where you are." Trey ordered before hanging up. Kristen and Jamie wandered down the beach. Kristen's thoughts were troubled. "Do you think Trey will take responsibility if you’re pregnant?" Jamie asked for the second time that day." "I don't know, I think so." Kristen answered doubtfully. "I know Joshua would have if I were pregnant with his child." Kristen continued sure of the love Joshua had shown her. "But he's not the one you slept with." Jamie stated. "Honest to God Kristen you date one brother for nearly a week without doing anything, and than along comes the older brother and you just jump into the sack with him on the first date." She replied slightly exasperated with her cousin. "He has such a powerful aura to him, I felt drawn to him in a way I never was to Joshua. It was like destiny meant us to be together." Kristen answered wistfully. They continued down the beach unaware of Trey's arrival on the beach. Kristen sensed his approach as a wolf senses its mate, and turned to stare at his approaching figure. Dressed in a dark suit it was hard to make him out in the darkness. Jamie also turned gazing at the approaching figure with some alarm. "It's alright it is only Trey." Kristen assured Jamie when she would have fled. "How do you know?" Jennifer asked unable to see anything in the darkness surrounding them. "I can sense him." Kristen answered simply. "You shouldn't be walking on the beach at night alone, it’s dangerous." He informed them. "Come I will walk you back there is much to talk about." Trey told them leading them back toward their car. Kristen was at a lost for words, so she quietly followed Trey back toward the cars. Nothing is said until they reach the cars. Trey turned to Jamie and said. "If you don't mind I would like to speak to Kristen alone." Trey replied firmly going on to say... "I'll bring her home when we are done." With that Trey reached out to take Kristen by the arm leading her toward his limo. A stunned Jamie can only look on as Kristen is led away. Reaching the car Trey said gently but firmly..."Get in the car." Having no other choice Kristen obeyed him and got into the waiting limo. Trey followed suit and the car door is shut by one of Trey's bodyguards. The car pulled out of the parking lot. Jamie watched the car and wondered silently what fate would befall her cousin this night.
